"Letters From Jail" begins with a a series written from June to September of 2008; single page memo-type Under the titles (in order):  

• "Former Father", or one designation of divorce for those otherwise called "non-custodial"; 

• "Faraway Father", or the emotional and physical separation due to the use of the children as pawns for power -one parent over the other; 

• "Fellow Father", as a note of other fathers encountered or observed during my stay to that point; 

• "Family Father", about some personal generational benefits of fathers, their sons and daughters;  

• "Fore-Father", ironically, my extradition to St. Augustine followed the course of some Patriots of the 1,700's - and share is a similar struggle for freedom and "taxation without representation"; 

• "Founding Fathers", once again, the patriarchs of the past are recollected as they too struggled for righteousness against the powerful arm of the authorities; 

• "Farthing Father", using the term "farthing" as a small-valued currency to a father apparently worth no more, if that, to a farthing; 

• "Forgetting Father", or the incomprehensibility to forget my children though oppressed to do so; 

• "Forgiving Father", or the fundamental call to unconditional forgiveness; 

• "Fearing Father", should I have reason to be afraid...since love casts out all fear; 

• "Forbearing Father", as I am both the forebear of my children and forbear for my children's loss; 

• "Future Father", of one who longs for reconciliation and restoration with my children.
