LOVE
is sometimes described as "the most powerful force in the
world"; but the true source of love is actually out-of-this-world
and, consequently, leaves us looking for love in all the wrong places.

Many examples of LOVE could be presented as words or an action; but is LOVE for a moment...or a finite length of time? Real LOVE grows...and last a lifetime - maybe longer! Jesus said, 'greater is no love than to lay down your life for another." Self-sacrifice can be the greatest example of love - not just for one...but for all... |

The choice of illustrations, the Passover Lamb, may seem peculiar in connection with the topic, LOVE; but the Passover was about a binding promise...or a Covenant...which is also true of LOVE. Yes. LOVE should be a promise or a commitment of such depth that it transcends all conditions and circumstances. LOVE is not without degrees and digressions, but depth should always hold...
As I considered that broad topic, my thoughts turned to the scriptures and to the every expected book of the First book of Corinthians, chapter 13 from The Message.
Love never gives up; it cares more for others than for self. (it is continuous, consistent and certain)
Love doesn’t want what it doesn’t have. (it is about giving...and being content...and having gratitude...)
Love doesn’t strut, Doesn’t have a swelled head, Doesn’t force itself on others, Isn’t always “me first,”
LOVE doesn’t fly off the handle or keep score of the sins of others or revel when others grovel,
LOVE takes pleasure in the flowering of truth, puts up with anything, trusts God always,
LOVE
always looks for the best, Never looks back, But keeps going to the end.
