A
Picture and a 1,000 Words
is obviously not original; as the saying
goes, “a picture is worth a 1,000 words” – but this collection
gives the dual benefit, both A Picture and at least a 1,000 relevant Words.
Somewhat symbolic of the tux-clad Character to the left, the collection may appear at first to be a lot of fluff and no substance or content – but that’s only the appearance in that the writings will feature a lot of actual people (or beings) as compared with other collections that focus on inanimate things.
Referring again to our debonair Character, the “all fluff” impression is augmented by a blank flip-chart and a blank callout – nothing to show and nothing to say (or write); but here lies the idea that a Picture must be found and the Words must be formed – of the writer and the character as well.
This collection will likely prove to be the most challenging because it relies so heavily on the idea – or happenchance of inspiration; followed by at least one interview or meeting for pictures and a plan…and permission when the picture is a person…
