letter, obviously sent to Child Enforcement, is more about the recent
determination that the court has effectively sentenced me...rather than genuinely
deemed me "not guilty"; and in the simplest expression, means
that the court can do more than determine guilt - but they can create it
too. In the fine print of protocol, the courts have found me
guilty without agreeing to my guilt - which means that they have
lied. What gives the courts the right to make an agreement -
both communicated and documented - without good faith? Very
simply replied, the courts don't need that right - as they are the

but then again, nor does the few others that I have discussed this matter

I count the costs of trying to be a parent to my children, what tallies
most is that the courts have created a criminal out of thin air by
rubber-stamping an injunction that was falsified in regard to the terms of
visitation with my children. The plight is not just for the

Hymowitz has published a collection of essays on Parent and Kids in this
modern age; calling them "Liberation's Children, she claims
that they....
When a
child is unjustifiable denied their right to their parent, than abuse has
occurred; and when a child is deceived - and even threatened - by a
parent, than abuse has been magnified to the degree that the child will
not and cannot forget it. |

in a culture "that frees the mind and soul by "emptying
them. All in all, she points to the attitude and approach of
treating children like adults; and as a consequence, of opening both the
doors and windows to a host of developmental and teen problems. She continues: parents have
left aside their traditional role of instructing their offspring in values
and concentrate on being their "housemates and
friends." In this role or relationship, the parent is
changed from a figure of authority into "facilitators, cheerfully
escorting the child's own unique self to maturity." So,
instead of leading and training, the parent is giving premature autonomy
to the child or teen - who is left to "stumble into experiences"
that usually end-up going out-of-control...

 Dana
Mack (2000) begins in the preface with the purpose: "I wrote
(the book) with the intention of expanding the debate on the malaise of
American youth." Having written on the heels of
Columbine, she reminds the reader of the off-the-cuff response of critics
(of youth violence) that removing access to guns is not the complete
answer...but only a easy one. The much deeper and
decided answer lies in the possibilities the young people are being
"subjected to adult pressure and temptations...

are not capable of dealing with."
In
her research, Dana went throughout America and, in her findings,
discovered that parents generally have two worries: the first
is the loss of childhood innocence; and the second is the loss of parental
authority. She summaries: "They
(the parents) complained about the increasing legal constrictions on
parental rights...and they regretted the increasing bureaucratization of
children's lives; and they appealed for more family time. Now begins the
book...

The
verdict is in: divorce put kids at risk, and the crisis of our youth
has a lot more to do with family structure than previously
thought. The National Fatherhood Initiative has
spearheaded an movement to get fathers back in......action with their
children. Other organizations such as The National
Center for Fathering are involved are in protecting families from the
