Stories of my Soul is a collection of short stories inspired by an interest in history as it pertains to industry, commerce, and society in general. Each story features a place or thing - a remnant of our society or My Locality - that serves to build a deep and personal meaning.

The Soul represents the deepest part of our mortal body – which we each have, of course. From The Soul of Man, the following: “The soul was created by God – not as an extension or aspect of God’s Soul but rather as the highest and most perfect of all his creation. Made in the image of God, the soul is the summation of man’s qualities and attributes: spiritual, physical, mental, etc.”
When I began these stories – with the first being “Aerospace and Spaces of Air” – my intention was to blend a remnant of local history – to include things that have lasted – with Photos and a perspective or feature that comes from my soul: an expression of my soul inspired by this place or thing.
From the dying textile industry to the embellished lamppost, Stories of my Soul will exalt the sometimes trivial or overlooked – but always something that has captured my attention – to mix a modest degree of history with an inspiration of the soul.
